VINTAGE HUBLEY EARLY AMERICAN FLINTLOCK CAP GUN/PISTOL - CIRCA 1955

Description

This is a Hubley Flintlock not a Flintlock Jr. This Cap Gun was made by the Hublely Manufacturing Company in Lancaster, PA.
Original advertising description says:
"No. 280 Flintlock Two Shot Cap Pistol.
Length 9-1/2 inches."
"Features: Swirl simulated stag plastic with bright metal barrels, trigger and hammers.
Finely detailed chasing on hammers and bottom of handle.
Single caps loaded in left and right pans.
Cups can be fired one at a time or simultaneously."
This cap gun is in good working order. Both hammers cock back and fire one at a time per trigger pull.
Measures 9-1/2" long. Does have oxidization on the metal and scuff on base of handle (pictured). I did notice that one hammer pulls up higher than the other (pictured).
This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug.
