Red vintage pinback button for the Hawaiian rock music radio station KPOI, promoting their rock 'n roll magazine "The Beat".
During the early 80s, the demand for 98 Rock merchandise was so high that the radio station had its own shops inside J.C. Penney stores, carrying merchandise with many designs and logos. KPOI also published its own rock 'n roll magazine, "The Beat", with the slogan, "The Beat Is On".
