There are scratches, dents, dust, smudges, grim, chips, company engravings on metal, etc. I don't know much about this device, from what I understand is that it was pulled from a working environment. Playing around with it I was able to focus in what I was looking at but I did notice there was some "bubbles" and black smudges when I was looking through the eye piece (see pics). I'm sure this device will work as intended perhaps it just needs a service. Take advantage of this deal! :)
