****** PRICE is ****** This is a rare black #52 practice-worn jersey of forward Rob DeCiantis from the Phoenix Coyotes' inaugural 1996 training camp at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Due to their relocation from Winnipeg and delays in choosing a new logo, the Coyotes did not have regular practice jerseys for camp so they outfitted players in thin mesh size XXL jerseys made by CCM with no logo on the front and screened-on numbers on the back. Each forward got one black jersey with white numbers and one white jersey with black numbers. Many of the players are shown wearing one of the jerseys in the team's 1996-97 inaugural season media guide. These jerseys were packed away in 1997 and bought from the team in bulk in 2003 when they moved to Glendale. DeCiantis was a 9th-round draft pick of Winnipeg in 1995 and was invited to Phoenix's 1996 camp but did not make the roster. He formerly played for with the Kitchener Rangers and was in the OHL, ECHL and UHL from 1994-2000 and also played in the Ontario Hockey Association's Senior A league from 2004-06.
