***** PRICE is ****** This is a black #39Phoenix Coyotes practice jersey that was worn by forward Brett MacLean in 2010 and 2011 prospect development camps, rookie camps and preseason training camps. He tragically had to retire at age 24 after suffering a cardiac emergency while playing in a pickup hockey game in Owen Sound, Ontario in July 2012. I
t is a size 56 CCM jersey that shows light overall use. Everything is sewn on this jersey which has a fight strap. The Coyotes wear numbered practice jerseys in development camps, rookie camps and preseason training camps. One numbered CCM jersey was made in several colors and the Coyotes used them from 2003 to 2014. MacLean was a 2nd-round draft pick of Phoenix in 2007 after starring for the OHL's Erie Otters (2004-06) and Oshawa Generals (2005-08) After signing with Phoenix, he
played for their top minor league affiliate in San Antonio from 2008-11. MacLean had 23 goals and 27 assists in 51 games in 2010-11 and was called up by the Coyotes for his NHL
debut on Dec. 9, 2010 against the Los Angeles Kings and scored against star goalie Jonathan Quick. However, MacLean had just two goals and one assist in 13 games for Phoenix and was placed on waivers in October 2011 and claimed by Winnipeg. The Jets waived him weeks later and Phoenix reclaimed him and he had 25 goals and 23 assists in 63 games for Portland in the 2011-12 season before suffering a near-fatal heart condition. The buyer o
f this jersey will get a xerox copy of the team letter of authenticity for a 2014 bulk buy of about 550 numbered CCM practice jerseys used by the Coyotes and a camp roster showing MacLean was issued #39.
