PAVOL DEMITRA 93-94 PEI Senators Game Worn Jersey
This game worn Pavol Demitra size 54 jersey shows nice wear.
It is from Pavol’s first professional season in North America. Pavol started the 1993-94 season with the NHL club in Ottawa, but a serious injury interrupted his season there, and upon coming back he was sent to the Senators AHL club, where he eventually played parts of three seasons. After being traded by Ottawa to St. Louis it quickly became apparent that the Senators had no idea what a great player they had in Pavol. He went on to star in the NHL and for his Slovakia countrymen in international play.
Like all 1993-94 PEI Senators I have seen in the hobby, this jersey had the name on back removed by the team. As far as I know the nameplates have not been accounted for, whether they exist or were destroyed I do not know. An outline remains of the removed nameplate.
I have both the home white and road black jerseys from Pavol’s 93-94 AHL season, and am making the road black jersey available for sale.
