Description

2 pieces of salvaged old growth Yew wood.  160 year old tree came down in an ice storm this spring.  Nice figure in both pieces, some pippy knots and beautiful coloring with darker areas.  All cut surfaces are wax sealed, no checks or cracks.

Yew wood is hard and strong, and turns excellent!  It takes a finish better than most hardwoods!
