Gabon Ebony timber aka diospyros crassiflora originates from W. Africa, primarily comes from Gabon, Cameroon, Congo, and Nigeria. Gabon Ebony is known to be a valuable lumber which is highly sought after for quality products including Knifemaking, guitar building, walking sticks making, pepper mills, musical instruments, goose and duck calls, tool handles, gun grips,, cabinetry, chess parts, turnery, intarsia, marquetry, and carving. This Ebony hardwood has been air dried to the European standards, planed all sides, and end waxed. You will receive similar one piece of as shown in the pictures.
