    Description

    This is a 2" English Pillar Box or letter/mail/post box. It is a reproduction cast in tin from an antique Johillco original and is hand-painted by Leddy & Slack. It is stamped GR thus dating to 1910-1936 during the reign of George V.  It is an unusual piece and would make a charming addition to any pre-war Standard Gauge, vintage G scale, or British #1 gauge model railroad or street layout. It is pictured here with some of our other village street scene or model railroad layout accessories, which are available separately.
    Our
    figures are cast tin, hand-painted, and contain no lead.
