    Description

    Sometimes you get lucky...
    I cut into this piece of Cocobolo and look what I found!
    A rainbow of colors in one set of scales.
    As you can see these scales are bookmatched. I cut them using a saw blade with a very thin kerf so there was not much waste and the grain really lines up nicely.
    These scales are sanded to 320 and then buffed with the Beal System. I probably spent more time on them than I should have but they were so lovely I just wanted to see how they might buff out. NOT disappointed.
    I have enough of this piece of Cocobolo to make 3 more sets all of which should look similar to these. Message me if you are interested.
