Here is a Cincinnati Stingers 1 year Central Hockey League game worn black jersey #30 with the nameplate DION
The jersey was originally worn by goaltender Normand Lapointe during the 1979-80 CHL season. There is evidence of a much longer nameplate that was on the jersey corresponding to Lapointe. The original Lapointe nameplate was removed and the DION nameplate was put on much later,possibly by a fan or collector as Michel Dion was #30 with the WHA's Cincinnati Stingers the previous year. The jersey is being sold as a CHL Cincinnati Stingers game worn jersey
Made by Russell Athletic (who made all of the Stingers mesh jerseys in the WHA and CHL),the  jersey is approx size Large.
The front crest and all the numbers are heavily screened onto the jersey.The DION nameplate is sewn onto the jersey with the individual letters sewn onto the nameplate.
The wear on this jersey consists of good overall use with stick and puck marks evident thru out the jersey,and a large unrepaired hole on the front hem of the jersey
A very hard to find minor league game worn jersey from a 1 year franchise in the Central Hockey League.
