Origin: Southeast Asia
Fine-grained wood with various colors from a light pinkish, reddish-brown to almost scarlet and sometime golden/yellow color is found in this species. It has a very pungent, spicy scent. Remarkably stable burl. Very easy to work with and sands like dream...
There may be small inclusions, voids, natural defects and a few minor drying checks which are typically found in burl wood. This stock is in various stages of drying and may not be fully dried...
