Description

Premium quality piece of Pacific Yew wood salvaged from a fire killed tree.  All cut surfaces are waxed.  This tree has great color, beautiful grain and some pippy knots.  This tree was 103 years old, very tight grain!
High moisture content. No checks or cracks. Some burned bark on one side of the tree. Its peeling off in that area.  None of the actual wood is burned or damaged.

Yew wood is very hard and strong, and turns excellent!  It takes a finish better than most hardwoods!
