Big Pacific Yew Bowl Blank! Nice!! 8.75 × 8.5 × 5.25 (L229)

Description

Oregon Pacific Yew bowl blank, salvaged from a fire killed tree. Nice color and even some curly grain on one end.  All cut surfaces are waxed.  Drying for a couple months. No checks or cracks. This piece is not dry, I would still consider it fresh cut.

Yew wood is very hard and strong, and turns excellent!  It takes a finish better than most hardwoods!
