******* PRICE is 9 ******** This is a worn #70 jersey of Arizona Coyotes goalie Karel Vejmelka from the team's Sept. 13, 2021 intrasquad scrimmage to cap a rookie development camp at Gila River Arena in Glendale. It was the last time that the Coyotes wore the white howling coyote head logoed jerseys as that style has been phased out after 19 seasons. Vejmelka and 16 other White jersey rookies faced 18 rookies who wore the Black kachina jerseys. The 26-year-old Vejmelka, a 5th-round draft pick of the Nashville Predators in 2015, had been playing for three different teams in his native Czech Republic since 2014. He won a roster spot with Arizona and soon became the team's #1 goalie, finishing his rookie year with a 13-32-3 record in 52 games.
"Veggie" was one of the lone bright spots for the Coyotes and had some spectacular games with
several 40-plus saves performances and played well beyond his lack of pro experience. This Adidas size 58G jersey has some puck marks on the lower front and around the left armpit area. The jersey was
obtained directly from the Coyotes in a bulk buy.
