Arizona wore its red game jerseys with the howling coyotes head logo for the last time in 2021-22 as that style has been phased out after 19 years and the team will only wear Kachina logoed jerseys from now on. The Coyotes wore the red jerseys only eight times during the season and Vejmelka played in most of those home games. This Adidas size 58G goalie-cut jersey shows some black puck marks on the front and both sleeves. The team equipment staff marked the inside crest with 21-22 SET 1. T
he 26-year-old Vejmelka was a 5th-round draft pick of the Nashville Predators in 2015, but kept playing for three different teams in his native Czech Republic as he had done since 2014. The Coyotes invited him to a development camp in September 2021 and he won a roster spot and soon became the team's #1 goalie, finishing his rookie year with a 13-32-3 record in 52 games.

several 40-plus saves performances and played well beyond his lack of pro experience. The jersey was
