    The front of this note shows an image of Kemal Atatürk (19 May 1881 – 10 November 1938) who was a Turkish army officer in the Ottoman military, revolutionary statesman and the first President of Turkey, credited with being the founder of the Republic of Turkey. The back honors Aydin Sayili (2 May, 1913 – 13 October, 1993), a prominent Harvard educated Turkish historian of science.
