    Description

    20 Purpleheart pen blanks.  They measure 5.25" x 3/4" square. No Cracks, kiln dried!  When Purple Heart is fresh cut it is duller in color, as it oxidizes it gets bright purple. In the long run it darkens to dark purple. The photo shows the dull fresh cut phase which is what they will look like when you get them. Purpleheart has a Janka Hardness of 2,520lbf (compare to white oak at 1,350lbf)
