Ken Sutton played for the Canadian AHL All Star team during the 1998-99 season after being a member of the Albany River Rats, finishing that season with a stat line of 75GP 13G 42A 55P 118PIM +33. His efforts helped lead Albany to the post season where they lost in 5 games to the Hamilton Bulldogs.
In the rest of his playing career, Ken Sutton played for the Buffalo Sabres, Edmonton Oilers, St. Louis Blues, New Jersey Devils, San Jose Sharks, and New York Islanders. He played a total of 388 games in the NHL, finishing with 23 goals and 80 assists.
Sutton’s most prominent accomplishment in hockey included helping the New Jersey Devils win the Stanley Cup in 2000. Although Sutton only played 6 regular season games for the Devils, his name is engraved on the Stanley Cup with the rest of the 1999-2000 New Jersey Devils.
