    Description

    Hello,
For sale is 1971 Moto Guzzi Ambassador that was rebuild from the ground up with keeping original patina. Top end: heads, valves, springs, pistons (Carillo/Bullet) and rods (Carillo/Bullet) are completely brand new. Transmission was rebuilt and it has a new clutch. Carburetors were rebuilt as well. Compression is 150 PSIs in both cylinders. New brake pads front/rear.  The bike has ultra rare running boards that i have never seen mounted on bike before. These running boards are mounted on factory made crash bars that have special treads as well as pegs have factory made mounting brackets for running boards and a mounting bracket for transmission gear shift as you can see in one of the pictures.  I removed the tank so you can see the condition of parts but put everything back together.  There are no leaks.  You can see the walk-around and a ride videos on YouTube here:

There are some extra parts, like transmission, original seat (i converted the bike to solo seat as you can see on pics), extra sets of rods and bunch of other misc. items. I have a bunch of police parts but these are not included into this auction. The bike is currently registered and i have a clean California title on my name. The motorcycle is also for sale locally in San Diego. It is a local pick up only as i will not deliver but I will do my best to assist you with shipping by working with your shipping company if you make such an arrangement.  Previously (5 years ago), I did sell a different motorcycle to Australia and the transaction went smoothly.  Similar motorcycles sell for around -25k. I have some paperwork from original owner (Tom Cromwell) going back to 1995.

    Thanks for looking.
