"One Thousand Lira"
note from the
"Central Bank of Turkey"
. It was authorized by the law of 1970 and was issued January 14, 1970.
The note pictures the first President and founder of the Republic of Turkey, Kemal Atatürk. At the end of World War I he led the Turkish War of Independence that turned the old Ottoman Empire into the modern state of Turkey. He passed away in 1938.

The Note:
A veteran, it served as the medium of many transactions. It has some edge roughness, including some minor splits, and a single small hole in the exact center from wear. As grading is subjective, please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
